The KAB Story K. Akkaretty Nadar – a sole proprietorship formed by Mr. K. Akkaretty Nadar in the early 1930’s which was a small trader shop dealing herbs and spices, formed in the cultural capital city – Madurai. Then, the firm transformed into a partnership by the next generation and took it to a next level by expanding our business all over India. The trading of herbs and spices all over India helped us to recognize as one of the leading suppliers in Madurai which formed the backbone to our business. In 2007, K. Akkaretty Nadar and Grandsons was formed by the third generation and evolved into a fully fledged exporter and importers of herbs, spices, nuts, natural gums and resins, fresh fruits and other agricultural products. We also act as a wholesaler trading company to cover the local markets and act as a distributor for the imported spices. Our strong tie-ups with the South Asian countries like Vietnam, China, Indonesia, Srilanka and Pakistan helps us to supply quality products with the best price to satisfy all our customer needs. In 2012, our sister concern K.A.B. International Private Limited was formed as a manufacturing and processing company for herbs, spices and pooja items. Our brand “K A B” helped us to gain market and recognition directly to the end consumer by supplying to the retail outlets, Kiosks and other small sized stores. We are passionate about what we do, consistency and integrity being our mantra, our customers become our friends. Our company’s major strength lies with our administration team, where our business members are none other than our relatives and family members. We all share the same rich cultural business history and we are backed-up by the 70 years old experience, business tradition and history taught by our ancestors.
